Software or Firmware Developer (m/f/d) Embedded Systems
Due to our positive business development, we want to further strengthen our team. For a long-term commitment, we are looking for a Software or Firmware Developer (m/f/d) Embedded Systems as soon as possible.
Tasks:
- Development of hardware-related software for microcontrollers in the field of renewable energy systems with a focus on DC voltage technologies across all development phases
- Design, implementation, test and documentation of software components on application and driver level
- Maintenance and further development of existing software solutions
- Creation of software architectures and modeling of processes
- Testing of developed components on evaluation and target platforms as well as on test benches and participation in the commissioning of new electronics
- Development of tools to support software development and commissioning processes
- Close cooperation with the hardware development and testing departments.
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- First professional experience in hardware-related software development for microcontrollers required
- Programming knowledge in C / C++ mandatory; knowledge in Python and/or other script languages desirable
- Experience with bus systems (especially CAN) and other communication technologies (SPI, I2C,UART, USB, Ethernet) preferred
- Knowledge in the area of automated software testing or build automation is an advantage
- Distinct hands-on mentality, high solution orientation as well as structured way of working
- Good communication skills in German and English language
